Vilshärad Camping

A lush and beautiful idyll outside of Halmstad along the Kattegat Route, here you can enjoy the tranquility and nature. Most camping pitches have grassy areas and hedges. We are located next to Haverdal Nature Reserve and just a short walk to the sandy beach with sand dunes and a dog-friendly area.

A place for activities and relaxation

At the campsite, there is a mini-golf course, a boules court, outdoor chess games, and the possibility to rent Stand-up paddleboards, bicycles, and tandem bicycles. There is also a shop and an ice cream café. Just 500 meters from the campsite, you’ll find The Driftwood, a restaurant with wood-fired pizza as well as other dishes inspired by Italian cuisine.

Plenty to do within comfortable distances

As a guest at Vilshärads Camping, you have several amenities within convenient distances. In addition to the kilometer-long sandy beach and the magical nature reserve, Vilshärad has much to offer. Hike in the nature reserve or cycle stages of the Kattegatt Trail, which passes right outside the facility. Within walking or cycling distance, there is a natural harbor where you can catch crabs, Vilshärads farm shop, a salmon shop, a glassblowing studio where you can blow your own glass creations, football golf, and golf courses, among other things. More excursion destinations we can recommend are Wapnö farm shop and shopping at Gekås Ullared, which you can reach in less than an hour.

You are 7 km away from Tylösand with nightclubs and restaurants, and 10 km away from Halmstad with plenty of shops and outdoor dining. Adventure park, Car & Aviation Museum, wake park, adventure pool, museums, castles, and more.
