Strömstad
A quiet and peaceful family campsite with cabins, glamping tents and camping plots located a few kilometers from the center of Strömstad. The campsite is located in an area sheltered from the wind with the forest as the nearest neighbour, but at the same time close to salty seas and a fantastic archipelago.
Just under a kilometer to take a swim in the sea
After a walk of 900 metres, you reach Seläterbadet with a water slide, jumping tower, sandy beach and a large, lovely lawn. A little further north along the coast you will find Capri Havsbad, which attracts with a fantastic sandy beach, wonderfully warm cliffs and a view towards Norway.
Once back at the campsite, you can experience a range of activities. There is a playground with a jumping pillow, pedal cars, mega chess, mini golf, bike rental and an arcade.
Golf, hiking, Norway or out on the Koster Sea?
Outside the campsite there is a large range of activities. The facility’s nearest neighbor is Strömstad Golfklubb, where many of the holes meander between steep rock formations with spectacular views of the typical Nordbohusland landscape. Seläter Camping is also in close proximity to the Bohusleden trail, Kuststigen trail and Nötholmen nature reserve.
Take the boat out to the Koster Islands, which departs from the center of Strömstad, rent a bicycle to get around the island and a stop at Koster’s Gardens, which includes a bakery, restaurant and farm shop. Visit Alaska with Selin Charter and experience Hilma Svedahl’s fantastic rock garden. We can also recommend experiencing the shipwreck at Blomsholm with ancient monuments from as far back as the Stone Age during a visit to Strömstad.
