In Bohuslän, Gothenburg and Halland there are campsites with various accommodation options to choose from. The following establishments are open all year round for overnight stays, including camping sites, cottages, hotels, apartments and hostels.

The possibilities are many, as is the number of towns where the campsites are located. From Strömstad in the north to Laholm in the south.

Activities when staying overnight at a campsite in autumn, spring and winter

Outside the summer season, opening hours may be limited and the range of activities differs from the high summer season. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t things to do.

Experience hiking trails such as Bohusleden, Kustsstigen or Hallandsleden around the campsites. Or cycle stages of the Kattegat Trail between Gothenburg and Helsingborg. Take a cold bath in the sea or lake or a warming dip in a jacuzzi.

Activities vary between the resorts, but the common feature is that you can book accommodation all year round. Some of the campsites organise activities during autumn holidays, sports holidays and Easter holidays.
