We asked those working at the campsites for their best excursion tips, and we got many great suggestions! Visit Nordens Ark, a sanctuary for endangered animals built on the animals’ terms, or Havets Hus, where you can discover underwater species. Don’t miss Vitlycke Museum with its rock carvings or the Daftöland Amusement Park with attractions, theater, and pirates. A visit to Smögen Pier is popular, as well as boat trips out on the sea to experience the best of Bohuslän. From several campsites, you can book and board boat tours to different destinations.
If you enjoy hiking, both the Bohusleden and Kuststigen trails pass by several of the campsites, making them great overnight options.
