We asked those working at the campsites about their best excursion destinations and received many great tips! Visit Nordens Ark, a facility for endangered animals built on the animals’ terms, Havets Hus where you can learn about underwater species, Vitlycke Museum with rock carvings, or the amusement park Daftöland with attractions, theater, and pirates. A visit to Smögenbryggan is popular, as well as boat tours out to sea to experience the best of Bohuslän. From several campsites, you can book and embark on boat tours that take you to various locations.
If you enjoy hiking, both the Bohusleden and Kuststigen trails pass by several of the campsites, making them great overnight options.
