Saltviks Camping

Saltvik is located in the middle of the beautiful nature reserve Tjurpannan, known for its outstanding views and powerful storms. Here you can experience all seasons of Bohuslän. From spring Trout fishing, through summer’s salty baths, to autumn’s lobster fishing, to finally land in the calm of winter. You live in a cabin, in a mobile home or on a camping site, and you can live here all year round.

Accommodation at Saltviks Camping in northern Bohuslän

Take your towel out on the rocks and enjoy the fantastic environment. If you want to go out to sea, pedal boats, SUPs and even motor boats are available for rent via the beach kiosk. The area also has volleyball nets and training stands, training sessions, children’s activities, mini golf and many opportunities for crab fishing.

Bohuslän offers many fantastic hiking opportunities in different environments. And one of our favorites happens to be right around the corner. The cliffs at Tjurpanna nature reserve and the magnificent views are hard to beat. There are nice paths here for running, walking and even cycling. The coastal path also has beautiful stages to experience if you want to see more of the Bohuslän coast. From the beach at Saltvik, you can walk straight out into the reserve and follow one of the several marked trails.

At Saltviks camping, you can eat good food and drink well at Saltviks Bistro & Bar, where we also have entertainment several days a week during high summer. In the well-stocked service shop, you can always find fresh rolls, coffee bread, newspapers, fresh produce, ice cream, camping accessories, etc.

Shopping and other excursions in the local area

Grebbestad offers many small cozy shops that are well worth a visit. About 12 km from Saltvik you will find Tanum Shopping Center with a mixed selection of shops and eateries. Just outside the center of Grebbestad is the Nordic’s largest sports shop, Sportshopen.

The idyllic archipelago offers everything from guided kayak tours to yoga on both sea and land. At Bröderna Klemmings Dyk you can book diving trips, high-speed safaris and seal safaris.
