Läjet Camping & Resort

In southern Varberg, within walking distance of the small idyllic fishing village known colloquially as Läjet, is Läjet Camping & Resort. Here you can stay in a cabin, rent a caravan to try camping life or live in your own accommodation on the camping site. Regardless, you live in a lush environment and can enjoy lovely days at the beach.

Sunbathing, swimming, sports and play

The resort has everything you need for a memorable and comfortable stay. Shop, restaurants and activities for all ages. Multi-sport arena, playgrounds, football field, padel tennis, boules court, music quiz, entertainment, yoga and more. For our younger guests, there is also a Children’s Club and one of Sweden’s largest jumping pillows!

From Läjet Camping & Resort it is about 1 km by promenade to Läjesviken, where there is a nice swimming beach. The beach is about 300 m long, shallow and child-friendly. On one of the piers there is a bathing jetty. Here there is a toilet building with a good standard, good parking facilities as well as a kiosk and some playground equipment. The beach is also a popular surfing spot and it is possible to rent equipment during certain times of the year.

Close to a lot and something for everyone!

It is close to the center of Varberg, rent a bike and get to the center of Varberg or cycle stages of the Kattegattleden trail. Varberg is known for its health resort, sea, baths & spa. The square & city center, Varberg’s fortress and the cold bath house are well-visited places. If you want to see more of the local area on foot, we can recommend walking parts of the Hallandsleden trail.

It is close to Ullared, Liseberg and Copenhagen. And there are many cozy places for day trips such as farm shops, flea markets, cafes, auctions, hiking trails, swimming beaches and much, much more.
